This work is rough and abstract, as well as multilayered. The foreground of the work is colorful, and serves as the launching platform for the black figure in the center; the background of the work has structure in its lines, but is relatively colorless and unmotivating. The small wisp of white in the center of the work, traveling down to the flower shape outlined in contours at the bottom-center of the image, is meaningful here.
